Urban&Civic are looking for a Digital Marketing Apprentice to become a key part of their Communities and Marketing team. The role is a new one for the company, and part of a commitment to supporting apprenticeships across the development and construction sectors and showcasing the diversity of roles available.
The role will be part of the project teams supporting the creation of new communities, who cover the planning, design, delivery and long term maintenance of new places, along with supporting the new residents moving in. This role will help pull together engaging, well-crafted and time relevant content and campaigns for websites, social media and other e-channels. Primarily focused at Waterbeach Barracks, the role will also support the developments at Wintringham, St Neots and Alconbury Weald near Huntingdon, as a core part of the Urban&Civic Cambridgeshire team.
Rebecca Britton, Head of Communities, Communications and Partnerships for Urban&Civic said:
“We always invest time and energy into the communities living around the new developments we are bringing forward, and in the new residents moving in, but we know the way people find and absorb information is changing hugely and as we scale up the work we do on social and digital media, it feels an ideal time to support a Digital Marketing apprentice, working with Anglia Ruskin University.
“There are always thousands of stories to tell from across our new communities: from the planning process, through landscaping and infrastructure going in, to houses and facilities emerging. Whether we are addressing construction issues and impacts with local communities or showcasing the Waterbeach experience and lifestyle to potential new residents, we want to support new skills and energy to help us tell those stories in warm, engaging, innovative and creative ways”.
